Arielle married Kevin

During the candlelit Friday night ceremony, under the gorgeously constructed Chuppah, even the Cantor couldn't help but make mention of the couple's Yankees/Mets rivalry and their common bond through sports. Chuckles could be heard throughout the audience of 140 of the couple's closest friends and family.

Anyone who knew Arielle & Kevin knew that this union was destined. Within 5 minutes of my initial meeting with the couple, we were all laughing and exchanging stories. It was obvious to me, they truly did complete each other. I was honored to be a part of this special couple's special day.

Arielle and Kevin exchanged vows this past Friday at The Rockleigh Country Club in Rockleigh, NJ. From the beginning of the vows until the end of the night, guests truly partied the night away, just as Arielle & Kevin wished. At the reception, guests were wowed with what were seriously the most beautiful centerpieces I've ever seen and the masterpieces of Amaryllis Decorators. The dance floor stayed packed the entire evening, complete with the Traditional Jewish horrah, compliments of the sounds of Sumar Entertainment. As though that wasn't enough, shortly after the cake cutting, guests were invited to what I jokingly refer to as the "2nd reception", a Viennese display sure to knock your socks off!

Below are a few shots we were able to take.ofessional pictures soon to follow, compliments of MarioMichele Studios.

Imagine, this is only one of atleast 12 displays! Guests entered the room and literally shrieked "oh my goodness"

Congratulations Arielle & Kevin!

Sunday

Jennifer and Scott tied the knot!

On a very windy day in late July, Jennifer married Scott in an outdoor ceremony by the water at the picturesque Greate Bay Country Club. Under a Chuppah constructed of natural materials and wrapped in chiffon, Jennifer and Scott exchanged vows complete with handfasting, wine, a naming day ceremony and the breaking of the glass to honor Scott's Polish and Jen's Jewish Tradition. Guests were welcomed into the reception to the sounds of Schaffer Sound Productions, and decor which consisted of elements from the couple's world travels and love of scuba.

I was honored to have the opportunity to work with the remarkable Paula Cella again. Pictures of the wedding are posted on her blog. I was also in great company with Joe Mariorano of Schaffer Sound Productions , Floral Decor by Fischer Flowers, Videography by Marc Smiler Video Artist, the most AMAZING cake by BakeWorks and of course the lovely ladies at Greate Bay Country Club.

This morning I received a notification of a review posted on wedding wire from the couple which read:

Isis is amazing. She and her coordinators took the wedding vision and dream I had put together and brought it all together into one coordinated, well executed, beautiful wedding. I had no worried with her, as she was the only person I had spoken to (of many day-of coordinators) who was as detail-oriented and organized as I am. All over every aspect of the wedding, she kept things running smoothly and kept it from me when it wasn't. She did exactly what I would have hoped she would have done -- make my day perfect so that I could just sit back and enjoy it.

She also took approximately 1,000 calls from me, as I was a long-distance bride who was trying to coordinate a complicated affair from 2,000 miles away. She was the best.

Jen & Scott, it was my pleasure in assisting to create the day of your dreams.

A new spin on an Old favorite

Though traditionally used within the Jewish faith, we have found more and more couples utilizing the Chuppah to beautify their ceremony space. The Chuppah represents a Jewish home symbolized by the cloth canopy and the four poles. This "home" initially lacks furniture as a reminder that the basis of the home is the people within it, not the possessions.

The picture above is a gorgeous Chuppah that was constructed by my very good friend and phenomenal Florist, Denise Herker of Leigh Florist. What I love most about this Chuppah is that it is not only such a magnificent focal point, it is the perfect mix of traditional and classic, with the mix of the pottery, flowers and delicate fabric.

Many couples also choose to have the Chuppah carried by the attendants of to the ceremony as was done in Dawn and Dave's Wedding. If you are looking to have a traditional Chuppah constructed, please do give Denise a call.

Monday

Dawn & Dave

I was honored to assist at the Wedding of Dawn and Dave this past weekend. By far one of my favorite weddings of the year(as was the Wedding of Eve & Joe 2 weeks before), this couple truly focused on the meaning of love and family.

The Wedding was held at a private home on the beach in Brigantine. Guests enjoyed a light reception filled with the sounds of violins at the home prior to their short stroll on to the beach for a breath-taking ceremony performed by Canter Ellie Shaffer. An amazing Kosher dinner followed the ceremony as guests mingled and enjoyed the wonderful ocean breeze on a cool "90 degree" night. The entire night was captured on film by noted photographer Paula Cella and there was truly never a dull moment.

It was the perfect night for a Wedding and Dawn and Dave were the perfect couple to share the night with.

Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Friedman!
