So I've been "tag" teamed by Lisa Michele and Deidre Gray to participate in a post election day tag...and I'm just a bit behind. In honor of the President Elect's 60 minute debut here goes:
1.Did you vote? Absolutely
2.In which state are you registered? New Jersey
3. What time did you go to the polls? 8 am. Shortly after dropping off my little prince.
4.How long was your wait? 20 minutes. I went with my mother and sister so there was a little wait.
5.Did you incur any problems? No. Everyone at the polls were extremely friendly and helpful
6.What was the reaction when you heard the news that Barack Obama won? I screamed. I carefully watched the election and turned the television off at 10:58p to get the little guy to sleep. Needless to say, the shrieking sounds didn't help.
7.Who was the first person you shared your reaction with? Christian (although) he really just thought we were playing a new game. Adult wise, my sister.

I've been tagged again by Stacey of Affairs to Remember to participate in the dot, dot, dot post. I've been meaning to do this post for some time since I first saw it a month or so ago, so now I have an excuse.
I've decided not to tag anyone else...but here goes.
I AM… stronger than I care to believe at times.
I WANT…to be an inspiration to many.
I HAVE…more good days than bad.
I KEEP…an optimistic outlook on life
I WISH I COULD… take some time to slow down
I HATE…being lied to.
I FEAR…no man.
I HEAR…music in my head
I DON'T THINK…people realize the magnitude of their effect on others
I REGRET…very little. I’ve learned to be true to YOURSELF first and life’s path becomes very clear
I LOVE…the sound of my son breathing in his sleep
I AM NOT…afraid to pursue my dreams
I DANCE…to the beat of my own drum. It's more a two-step with a twist.
I SING…every chance I get. Not well. Just often.
I NEVER…take for granted that I will be here tomorrow and say I love you to the people that matter the most.
I RARELY…lose touch.
I CRY WHEN I WATCH…most movies. Romance. Comedy. Cartoon. I'm a total sap.
I AM NOT ALWAYS… right. I’d love to think I am though.

Tag, I'm it!
I was tagged by my colleague and good friend Lakendra Kennedy of Affairs with Elegance. Nothing like a game of blog tag to get the week off to a good start! Here goes:
Four things I did today:
1. Spoke with Max & Me Catering regarding menu planning for our 9/26/09 couple.
2. Finalized 30 handwritten thank you notes to vendors for my last few weddings (better late than never right?)
3. Treated myself to a Grande non-fat light whip hot chocolate from Starbucks. I love Starbucks. Every time I'm in there I'm amused at the ordering process. If you listen closely, it always sounds like a bunch of complex physics equations being spewed over the counter.
4. Exchanged emails with a past client from 2 years ago. My how time flies!
Four things on my to-do list:
1. Order the linen sample for the "Touches" design consultation scheduled for this Saturday.
2. Finish the 25 other vendor thank you cards that need to be handwritten
3. Finalize a venue for an upcoming project I'm working on (More details to follow shortly)
4. Prepare for our initial consultation this evening
Four of my guiltiest pleasures:
1. Jeans. It's an obsession. I own over 200 pair.
2. Reality TV
3. Blog surfing
4. My son. Even at 16 months he's already turning away from all of the "kisses" mommy likes to share.
Four random facts about me:
1. I have a phobia of deer. I'm not quite sure what started it but Bambi is not my friend.
2. I love to travel
3. I've purchased 4 cars in the last 2 years
4. I haven't been to a wedding as a GUEST in over a year.

Anywho, this tag is a little different. Rather than random facts, it is random songs that you normally might not admit that you like. This should be interesting!
Songs I like but will deny to the death:
1. Barry White- My First. My last. My everything- I'm not sure what the actual title of this song is but the words are "My first my last my everything and the answers to,all of my dreams. You're all that i'm looking for.." Ok, it was in college and after watching a Chris Tucker movie that I totally fell in LOVE with this song. To this day I can't get enough of it!
2.Damaged by Danity Kane- I have literally blasted this song on more than one occasion. Darn Puffy and his Making the Bands.
3.Day 26 (entire albulm)-see above explanation.
4.Flo-Rida Apple Bottom Jeans- It's a shame that songs no longer require content discression or decent lyrics. This song has benefited from the ever so familiar "catchy hook".
5.Soulja Boy- Superman. Hey, if Oprah can dance to it (and Beyonce Live in concert), I don't feel too bad.

2. What color are your socks right now? No socks, dangling my feet under the desk.
3. What are you listening to right now? Actually I'm listening to Floetry. I pulled out their old CD after spotting one of the members of the Group at dinner tonight. Love it!
4. What was the last thing that you ate? Turkey Wings, macaroni & cheese, string beans
5. Can you drive a stick shift? Does the answer "not well" count? I've driven stick shift before...ok, I've moved the gear, while someone else drove but I've never actually been in the drivers seat. So, I'll say no.
6. If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Blue.
7. Last person you spoke to on the phone? The love of my life :)
8. Do you like the person who sent this to you? Yes, I'd only do another one of these for her
9. Favorite drink? Grey Goose Cosmopolitan or Hot Chocolate (total opposites, I know)
10. What is your favorite sport to watch? Football (now that I understand it-go Eagles!)

2.One of my favorite snacks is warm french fries with honey. Yes, pure honey.
3. Multiples run in my family. Twins are common and 3 years ago, we celebrated the arrival of our first set of triplets.
4.I've never lived and went to school or lived and worked in the same city.
